A man in his 40s has died after being stabbed on Ridgway Road in Shelton, Stoke-on-Trent, on Thursday evening. Police were called to the area at about 19:40 BST. The victim was found by members of the public near Hanley Park and died at the scene.
Arrests made
Staffordshire Police have arrested a 25-year-old man on suspicion of murder and a 17-year-old boy on suspicion of assisting an offender.
Officers are also trying to find three other men they want to speak to over the stabbing. Part of Hanley Park has been sealed off as the investigation continues.
Appeal for information
Detective Chief Inspector Ian Fitzgerald said: "I'd urge anyone who we have not spoken to and who thinks they may have relevant information to share with us to get in touch as soon as possible."
