Library members in Stoke-on-Trent now have free access to six daily newspapers through a new digital service. The ePress service, available via the BorrowBox app, offers instant access to the Sentinel, Staffordshire Newsletter, The Guardian, the i newspaper, Daily Mail and Metro. New editions arrive on publication day, with back copies available to read anytime on your phone or tablet.
To use the service, Stoke library members simply download the BorrowBox app and sign in using their library card number and PIN. The digital newspaper service requires no additional payment for cardholders. If you don't yet have a library card, you can join free online or visit your local Stoke library branch in person.
Councillor Sarah Hill highlighted the importance of the new offering. "Libraries have always been about giving people free access to information and that now extends far beyond the books on our shelves," she said. The ePress service reflects how Stoke's libraries continue to evolve and meet the changing needs of residents.
