A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was found dead at a flat in Stoke-on-Trent.
Police were called at about 03:30 BST to Oakwell Court on Oakwell Grove where they discovered the body of a woman in her 20s.
The 30-year-old suspect, from Stoke-on-Trent, was taken into custody for questioning by Staffordshire Police.

A cordon remains at the scene where there is an increased police presence. Officers are gathering evidence and providing reassurance to the community.
