A wildfire involving numerous allotments in Stoke-on-Trent has been tackled by emergency crews.
Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service was called to Hanley Road in Sneyd Green at 14:30 BST on Thursday afternoon.
Fire Spread to Nearby Trees and Fences
Crews found a number of allotments well alight when they arrived. The blaze had also spread to nearby trees, hedges and fences.
Three fire appliances attended the scene and the fire was extinguished. No injuries were reported.
Investigation to Follow
Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service said an investigation into the cause of the fire would take place in due course.
