More than 6,000 people have already explored the Staffy Trail since its launch, injecting up to £180,000 into the local economy. The free public art and heritage trail features eleven giant Staffy sculptures spread across Stoke-on-Trent, Stafford, Tamworth, Uttoxeter and Lichfield.

Visitors are discovering the sculptures using two methods: nearly 3,000 people have downloaded the official app, while thousands more are using printed maps to hunt down the artworks and explore hidden local gems along the way. The financial boost reflects spending at local restaurants, shops, attractions and transport services across the region.

Robin Hall, Staffordshire County Council's Cabinet Member for Economy and Skills, described the response as "fantastic" and said the trail is achieving its core aim of encouraging people to explore Stoke and the wider county. Organisers are maintaining momentum with a 'Selfie with Staffy' themed week launching Saturday 6 June, inviting visitors to photograph themselves with favourite sculptures and share the images online.

The Staffy Trail remains completely free to access and runs until 10 July. Whether residents or visitors are new to Stoke or exploring familiar areas, the trail offers an opportunity to engage with public art while supporting local businesses during the summer months.
